Brush
The Arab Street Department brush trucks rotate each week to a different section within the Arab City Limits.
Click here for the WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Old appliances, furniture, carpet, leaves, tree limbs & brush clippings are all considered solid waste goods and may be collected one time per month. Please reference the Brush Pick-up Schedule & Map to determine which week is yours & please don’t place items along the roadside until it is your scheduled week for pick-up. Items should be placed on personal property at the curb or roadside NOT on public ROW or in drainage ditches. The Street Dept does not pick up items containing asbestos or pressure-treated wood/building supplies.
DO NOT MIX DEBRIS & BRUSH :: Separate piles when placing for pickup.
*NOTE: Brush pick-up DOES NOT include contractor jobs – per City Ordinance. If debris is left behind from said jobs, removal will be reflected on your water bill. Multiple loads per month will be billed accordingly.
1st load – included
2nd load – $100
3rd load – $200
Leaf Removal
Leaf pick-up begins each year in November and follows the same schedule as brush. Leaves and grass clippings should not be bagged. Please DO NOT place leaves on top of brush. Leaves may be placed in a pile near the roadway AWAY from all other roadside waste, storm drains & culverts. This prevents clogging of ditches & drainage areas.
