Beautification Award
The Arab Beautification Board has created several specific projects over the years; one of those projects is the “Yards of the Month” recognition. Annually during the Spring & Summer, two residences and one business are chosen to receive the Beautification Award for their efforts in keeping their yards and grounds beautifully maintained.
Tree City USA
The City of Arab has been a Tree City for over 3 decades. In collaboration with the Arbor Day celebration, board members and members of the community plant a new tree in a new location each year. The Beautification Board also identifies and maintains specific public landscaping projects on City grounds.
Clean-Up Day
Each Spring, the Beautification Board organizes a citywide Clean-Up Day. This effort fully relies on volunteers. Stay informed via Beautification Board socials for details!
