Welcome to the beautiful City of Arab!
Located in Northeast Alabama in Marshall County, Arab is nestled atop Brindlee Mountain, and is one of the highest points in the State. More than 8,300 residents chose Arab, and there are approximately 53,000 in our retail trade area.

In 2019, the Arab City School System was 1 of ONLY 8 out of 137 total school systems in the State to score an “A” at every school.
In 2019, the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA) ranked Arab City Schools 2nd in the State for having the lowest
percentage of graduates in need of remedial college courses; with 4% in math and 1% in English.
In 2019, Arab High School was ranked the 10th best high school in the State by U. S. News & World Report.
The Arab High School HOSA, Future Health Professionals have earned the State Title and been ranked No. 1 in the State for 39 of
the last 42 consecutive years, and also ranked in the Top 3 in the State the other 3 years.
In 2018, Arab City Schools was 1 of only 6 school systems in Alabama to score an “A” at every school within the system.
In 2018, Arab Elementary School was the ONLY school in Alabama, and 1 of 68 schools IN THE NATION, to be recognized as a 2018
National ESEA (Title I) Distinguished School by the Alabama State Department of Education.
In 2018, Arab Elementary School was 1 of only 5 schools in the State to be recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School.
In 2017, Arab City Schools was 1 of only 12 school systems in the State to earn an “A” on the Alabama Education Report Card.
In 2016, Arab City Schools was 1 of only 16 school systems in the State to earn an “A” on the Alabama Education Report Card.
